Today is the Occupation for Jason Rally and Block Party

Per event invite: Almost one week into the #OccupationforJason, which is being held in response to the PSU police killing of innocent Black man Jason Washington, a rally will be held on the steps of the occupation at the Portland State campus public safety office. This is in order to demonstrate the broad layer of people within the PSU community who support the #DisarmPSU campaign and the fight for #JusticeforJason
Along with hearing speakers from the PSU community, attendees will have the opportunity to help make #DisarmPSU shirts, write letters to other families who have experienced police violence and make signs for the #DisarmPSU campaign and in honor of Jason Washington.
